#75: Bankers storm San Diego Beaches, San Diego County Credit Union's Teresa Halleck responds...9/13/2011
One of the more imaginative and fun marketing efforts of 2011, San Diego County Credit Union hired a couple dozen actors and actresses to portray greedy, stuffy, fee-hungry bankers storming the San Diego beaches on Labor Day. Startled beach-goers soon got the picture that the underlying message showed credit unions are the better choice to manage their money. We invited SDCCU's President & CEO Teresa Halleck on the show to discuss this entertaining guerilla marketing strategy complementing its already greedy bankers ad campaign that's sweeping San Diego. We even have video of the Labor Day banker beach event and one of the campaign's amusing TV commercials. Many thanks to Teresa for taking time out of her busy schedule to talk with us. Enjoy the program!
